Designed and built at Revolution Design House's workshop in Portland, the modular Boxcar Bench is made to order (from sapele, walnut, or ash) and is available in both an interior and an exterior version.
The indoor/outdoor bench posesses modern form, high-quality materials, and expert craftsmanship. The blue powder-coated steel ends and walnut slats are attached to an endoskeleton without any visible hardware, and the stainless steel planting pot sets off the plants within.
The wood and powder-coated Boxcar planters complement the bench.
The Belmont chair in sapele and aluminum is made to last. The outdoor leisure chair is inspired by two American classics: the aluminum lawn chair and the Adirondack. This modern chair has minimal hardware.
If you’re in Portland this weekend, you can see their designs firsthand on the first stop on the Monogram Modern Home cross-country modern design road trip, adjacent to the lighting and hardware store Rejuvenation.
Or catch Revolution Design on the next stop on the Monogram Modern Home tour at Dwell on Design Los Angeles May 29–31.
